About the role and team
Reporting to our General Manager, Security Services (Trevor), we're looking for an experienced and driven central Operations Support Manager to support Operations across all contracts in our Security Services portfolio, with 5 business units based across Australia. While the role doesn't have direct reports it will work collaboratively with our field based Security Operations Managers.
The role will be instrumental in shaping our security posture and ensuring the seamless operation of our security teams and infrastructure. Responsible for strategic security leadership, operational oversight and incident response, and team and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, policies, and cutting-edge solutions aligned with organisational goals and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Ensure strict adherence to relevant security laws, regulations, and industry standards through regular audits.
- Overseeing day-to-day security infrastructure, monitoring systems, and managing alerts.
- Leading and coordinating all phases of security incident response, from detection to post-incident review, and refine incident response playbooks.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on security operations, risk, and compliance.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated central operational leadership experience in a related industry
- Understanding of security principles and technologies
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Proficiency to conduct security audits and risk assessments
- Security Licence, Cert 4 Risk Management
